"Since our 2005 series, I can't go out without people asking "why don't we do more Blues concerts in the courtyard", or "they were so much fun, you have to do it again" says event co-organizer Dave Costarella.     "The 2005 series was a total blast, but it was also, a ton of work to put together, and at that time we were battling the City over noise issues, that have since been corrected."    To help ease the work load, Lois Schultz, from Patio at Penn Stone, will be joining the team. "Lois, is creative, has great organization skills, and shares our  passion for great live music, and making Downtown Lancaster an exciting place to be" says Blues Brother David Gipe, We are thrilled to have her on our team!"

Sharrie Williams and the Wiseguys, will be coming off a European tour, with a brand new CD in hand. Her past performance at the 2005 concert series was one of the most powerful and exciting performances of the year.  Sharrie sings, preaches, goes out in the crowd and brings it to the audience, not a dry eye, an untouched soul, or a place for one more goose bump will be left for the audience. And she’ll have you up and  dancin’ too!

Speaking of Goose bumps, world renowned blues, funk and soul artist Clarence Spady will be back in town, to start the show. Clarence was awarded the “France  Blues Trophie” for best new International Blues act of the year and nominated for a handy award. With a brand new CD in the can with Severn Records and a brand new lease on life, Clarence will be going “soul to soul”  Don’t even think about being late; he’s a headliner that will be starting the show! Spady, just recently was in Lancaster, to record a song about Hurricane Katrina, with D.C. & Co. and just might perform it with them at the show!

Blues fans will also get an opportunity to meet Michael Cloeren, founder and producer of the Pocono Bluesfest, one of the top blues festivals in the country. He will be in attendance for the show as he is Sharrie Williams new manager and friend of Blues Brother David Gipe. He is also producer/host of Mountain of Blues radio, a weekly radio show. In 1996 Michael was the recipient of the Memphis-based Blues Foundation’s “Keeping the Blues Alive” award for Blues Promoter of the Year.
